Stuart Oakes recently discovered and made available some 8mm film of a Christmas at Fred and Margie Oakes’ home in 1965. I don’t know of any other movies of them. My Aunt Aileen and Uncle J. C. King are prominently featured. Their daughter Helen Antoine and then husband Malcolm Antoin,e along with their children, Brenda, Debbie, Sandy and Josie are there. Others in the film include Floyd and, then wife Barbara, their daughter and son, Lisa and Jim Oakes, Eleanor Oakes, Donald and, then wife, Joylene Oakes, and her mother, cousins Mary and Pat Hartley and family friend Russell White. I have added music, since there was no sound track. I hope all will enjoy this treasure from the past.
