William T. "Wild Bill" Griffin and Ruby Benson Brown

Wild Bill and Ruby exchanged letters for a number of years. Below are scans of those we have found. Bill was married to Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Gordon. Wild Bill was a guide and outdoorsman. He was born March 23, 1881, near Stanley, York County, New Brunswick. He died September 28, 1966 in Nashwaak, NB. Ruby Emeline Benson Brown was born April 17, 1894 in Plymouth, MA and she died August 23, 1977, in Riverside, CA. She held a variety of jobs including Avon saleswoman. She married Harold Foster Brown in 1912. They were divorced by the time these letters were written.
